From [[The Five Science-Backed Habits For Longer Living]] One of the most interesting thought experiment I've heard about. When we think of people from Middle Age, we easily think they lived unhealthy and poor lives: - Faith and dogma were sort of blind - Royalty model was broken - People were poor and had unhealthy habit - And so on. Fast forward 500 years in the future, what would people from this new civilization think of us? Likely they would judge us harshly: - We're ruled by social media and advertising - We still have unhealthy habits (poor sleep, hustle culture, junk food and so on) What type of behaviours could we adopt today, that are not necessarily rewarded by society, but that would be seen as intelligent by people in the future? [[Studying history]] is important, but conducting thought experiments about the future historians can be just as powerful.
