On the freedom paradox see de Botton 2013, p. 219.

Freedom (of speech but also in general) is obviously valuable, especially when it conveys great outcomes. However, it can sometimes lead to very bad outcomes.
To some extent, what enables freedom is censorship. By shutting down extreme discourses that could incitate people to be violent for instance, we're preserving the freedom of speech of other people, who mostly aim towards positive impact.

=> [[Societal standards]] : Freedom is a societal construct. Without society, we're all 100% free.
=> Contrarian to [[How to navigate heated debates]] from [[Marcus Aurelius]] who thought everyone should be entitled to express their opinions, however conflictual
